I called Prime PC repair when my desktop was having random shutdown problems. Andy set up a time to come pick up the computer. He called a half hour before the appointment to alert me he might be a bit late due to a traffic accident on Paseo Del Norte. Well, he wasn't late. Right on time. He was polite, did a quick look at the computer and off he went. He estimated an hour and a half of repair time and back to me on Saturday. He called and said it would take a little longer to repair and delivered it on Sunday. Yes, he seemingly works everyday. Long story short, the computer still had a problem, and Andy was great in taking my calls about the problems and logging in remotely, he repaired the fault, and the computer is working normally. Now the good part...Pickup..repair..delivery and followup service for under $70 in my case. I'm pretty sure many other repair services would cost more just to do the diagnostic plus travel. The Exalt Communications microwave wireless backhaul system that Access Technologies designed and deployed is providing crucial communication support to the U.S. Forest Service firefighters battling the over 100,000 acre wildfire near Los Alamos, New Mexico. Access Technologies was first commissioned to supply Wireless Internet access from Santa Ana Pueblo's government building headquarters to their SSI building to provide wireless to all of Santa Ana Pueblo's government entities that are located about 80 miles from Los Alamos. Once the Las Conchas fire started burning near Los Alamos, the US Forest Service established their fire command center at the Santa Ana Pueblo by connecting into the Exalt wireless system to oversee the firefighting efforts in the area. The Forest Service is using the Pueblo's wireless system to connect the command center to the Pueblo's data center for Internet access to order supplies, schedule deliveries, and perform other vital functions as it directs crews against the massive wildfire near Los Alamos. "When the Forest Service decided to establish a command center here at the Pueblo, they asked us to provide access to our Exalt microwave system to provide them with Internet access," said Stephen Smith, IT Director for Santa Ana Pueblo.
