We found him to be quite upfront. He will tell you like it is. More people should appreiciate this in him. His sub contractors did a great job on our house. He was available by phone when needed. He was understanding and patient with our dog and my 4 year old while working at your house. Make sure you know what you want done and put it all in your contract. We found his pricing to be the cheapest in the area. Better to deal with his smaller company than the bigger guys you see on tv and in the newspapers....we had a horrible experience with Halmark of NJ. Don't use them for anything! Promises the world, but will not address any problems. Subs caused a lot of damage to prior and new construction; homeowner told, "That's the way it goes." Will not discuss job with homeowner does what he wants to do and will not change after it is done. Writes contract then will not follow, wants to be paid ahead of schedule, then threatens to walk off job. Do yourself a favor and find another contractor. ...read more
