Our group expected a luxury tour of Charleston and Savannah....instead we received a bus from 2002 with an air conditioner system that could not be controlled by the passengers and so the choice was between freezing and no air conditioning. 4 seats on the bus could not view any of the tour scenery because the windows were permanently fogged and the blinds on the bus were missing or broken.\n Our luxury accommodations were a Best Western outside the historic area in Charleston where some of our group had roaches in their rooms. Additionally the property was a 2 story with no elevator for seniors placed on the second floor. The La Quinta in Savannah had fleas in some of the rooms and the most uncomfortable beds I have experienced. The tours allowed no time to explore the historic area with the allotted 1 hour for lunch. \nOur complaints were met with the offer of a $500 credit toward a future excursion as if any of us would ever book with this company. Worst hotel on the beach. We figured since it was a name brand hotel it was our best bet. We were SO wrong. The desk staff is rude and stupid, the rooms need updating badly and stink...our room smelled like a weeks worth of dirty diapers and there was sand and mold everywhere. ...read more

went with my daughter and friends for a dance competition. Close to convention center made changing for dances easy, didn't have to bring costumes to center quick walk to room for changing. Room was clean and comfortable. When kids got bore... ...read more
