The Pace Charter School of Hamilton

By Debbie Pontoriero

Pace Charter School of Hamilton is truly one of the best kept secrets in Hamilton. This public school serves students from Kindergarten through Third grade. Class sizes are small capped at 15 with a total enrollment of 120 students. The school day is a half hour longer then the traditional public school and classes focus not only on academics but building character as well. One of the schools strengths is a very active, parent driven parent teacher organization Turn out at school events is high, on average 85% family participation. The NJASK3 scores or the 2010-2011 school year reported 100% of the students scoring at or above grade level in Math, and 88% of students at or above grade level in Language Arts. Pace Charter School of Hamilton is truly a gem of school, and while it may have a private school feel it is truly and extraordinata free public school ...read more
