I had been a customer at Columbia Bank for years and had several accounts with them in good standing. I noticed a couple of fraudulent charges on two of my accounts and called the bank to discuss the issue and rectify the problem. I received no help whatsoever from the branch managers in Washington Twp. and Deptford offices...nor did I receive help from the higher managers, administration, CEO, President, CFO, COO, etc. I was told that the charges incurred on my accounts along with overdraft fees (even though I opted out of overdraft protection) were my responsibility even though I did not authorize these charges on my account. I filed complaints with the FDIC, FTC, Banking Commission and all against Columbia Bank. Credit card companies do not even hold you responsible for fraudulent charges and Columbia Bank does! Beware people! Do not use Columbia Bank for anything!!! If I could give this bank a negative rating, I most definitely would. ...read more
