Purchased battery and had it shippedhere for a local dealer to install. Battery was not packed so great and some metal was so bent that the dealer would not install it. Had a hard time getting Mark to agree to replace it with another one. He wanted me to try installing it myself or try to straighten out the bent metal on the shipped battery. Had difficulty reaching him and having him return my calls, but eventually he agreed to replace the damaged battery. When I returned the core battery I put some blocking behind the sheet metal so that it wouldn't get damaged in the same way and Mark told me after receiving it that he would start shipping all his batteries like this. Battery is now over a year old and still works fine and I did save a lot vs the dealer option. Have since found a local place that can rebalance a battery if caught before going bad and essentially make it like a rebuilt one and it's only $450. Just had my battery replaced by Prius Re-builders and I couldn't be happier. They had better prices than other companies out there and they were very professional. I even had a chance to walk thru their warehouse-Science lab which was very interesting. They have hundreds of batteries on shelves and pallets. I bought the G2W2 model for $950 and got their military discount (husbands a marine)!!! Thank you guys for offering a viable alternative to the dealership. You guys are great!!! ...read more

Purchased a hybrid battery for my 2006 Toyota Prius with 187,000 miles. The Toyota dealer wanted $3,500 for a new one. Prius Rebuilders had a few options, and i ordered a rebuilt pack using generation 3 cells which should last longer. Got help and installed it and the car is working well now.
