After so many years I've finally found an optician in Palmer Square that understands optics. My prescription is very strong, but with frames and lenses recommended by the manager, I've never had a more comfortable pair of glasses. And the vision ? It's also the best I've ever had using a new RX. I will be coming back to AuCourant optical in the future to have all my prescriptions filled. ...read more

I bought my eyeglasses here and was thoroughly impressed with the selection and service. I wound up with a pair of Morgenthal Frederics frames and Zeiss lenses and have gotten sooooo many compliments that my head has swollen to the size of a huge pumpkin. Au Courant Opticians provided me with the best frames and lenses I have ever had ! The optician spent more than an hour showing me frames and explained how a frame should fit. He also showed me how I didn't need to spend so much money on the prescription. I went in asking for the thinnest lens available and he demonstrated how I could spend hundreds less for something that looks great !
