On November 2-5, 2015 the Mastermind Summit was held at the Borgata Resort in Atlantic City. The Mastermind Summit helps real estate agents and mortgage originators create stable, healthy, personally fulfilling businesses by implementing the turnkey strategies, predictable real estate systems, and marketing secrets generating results for the nation’s top producers. Over two-thousand were on hand. This was the first year the Mastermind Summit was held on the east coast. With the success it had, there’s little doubt it will return. Keynote speeches by Tony Robbins and Barbara Corcoran highlighted the event. But, there were also numerous other professionals who presented. During the event, top realtors, coaches and CEO’s in the country took the stage to let the over 1200 realtors in the audience know how to reach their highest level of success. On day 2, Marc Demetriou, Branch Manager at Residential Home Funding presented as a keynote speaker discussing the topic of how to build an incredibly successful referred based business. On day 3 and 4, over 1500 loan officers converged at the event to hear from the top experts in the country to share how they achieved their phenomenal results. Marc was again on stage to share his innovative marketing ideas and strategies. Demetriou said, “RHF is an awesome place to work. They truly enable the mortgage professionals the ability to get the loan done. A great back end support team, assists in expediting the process. RHF exemplifies the concept of “team.” In a private conversation, Frank Kuri, Senior VP of Branch Development wasn’t reluctant to heap praise on both. “For as incredibly talented as Marc is, he is quite humble. When he says the process is a team effort, he is correct. But, he certainly plays a major part of the team as the Branch Manager. Marc has no ownership stake in the company, but with how much he cares about his clients, co-workers, and peers, you would think he does. If you asked me who exemplifies the RHF ideals, I’d tell you it’s Marc.” With turnover in the industry as it is, employee retention is at a premium. Tony Robbin’s really hit home when he said that people don’t leave companies, they leave people. That is why it is so important to have all members of the team feel valued and appreciated. Barbara Corcoran was outstanding, as well. Residential Home Funding Corp. has a staff of several hundred employees. RHF realizes, as Mr. Robbins said, those employees are what make Residential Home Funding Corp. a national force in mortgage banking.
