I went to this salon on the recommendation of a friend. Wasn't sure how they would be since Karl J is a "celebrity" stylists. Many accomplished stylists can be rude and unpleasant. Karl and Melika are both great people. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of each time I've been there. Salon is clean and nicely decorated. If you have kids DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!! THEY HAVE A SIGN ON THE DOOR POSTED NO KIDS. Went early in the afternoon to get 1 nail repaired and had my child with me and was turned away because they have a NO KIDS POLICY. There was NO ONE in the waiting area and there was 1 attendant available, I asked to speak to the manager and I asked her were they serious they were going to turn me away because I had my child with me and she said "no kids allowed" then she walked passed me and pointed at the sign on the door. They do a great job on eyebrows for only 5 bucks. However, when it comes to nails, it isn't the cleanest. I have got a pedicure there before and the little tub you put your feet in is always dirty. I've heard a number of people say they have got fungus from there also. Overall, the prices are cheap but it's cuz you pay for what you get. ...read more
