I HAVE LIVED IN TROY TOWERS FOR MANY YEARS. THE BUILDINGS WERE RUN BEAUTIFULLY UNTIL MANAGEMENT SWITCHED TO THE THIRD GENERATION. THEY DO NOT RUN THIS BUILDING AS BEFORE. THEY ARE RUDE AND TELL YOU TO MOVE IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT. THEY ALSO DO NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE OR MAKE REPAIRS IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE PIPES LEAK AND THE RADIATORS LEAK AND MAKE A MESS ON THE FLOOR AND THEY TELL YOU TO USE YOUR INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. After years of neglect, Mr. Allen/Troy Towers mangmt is uddenly pursuing a modernization program and maintenance program for the 2 TT buildings. It was soon made aware to tenants that rents would be increased by 20 %. the type of increase that Mr. Allen is asking for is outrageous - especially during these trying times. The economy has not improved over the past 2 years and many people who work haven't received a raise in years.In recent weeks, tenants have received numerous, senseless letters threatening tenants. He reminds us that he is in CHARGE and has the POWER. Mr. Allen intimidates his tenants with with his bullying.Recently, 100 TROY TOWERS tenants met with the Bloomfield MAYOR to resolve the rent increase and unruly behavior that Mr. Allen distributes.In the last court meeting, TT tenants brought up concerns over having to deal with MICE and ROACH problems.It not surprising that this is becoming a problem for Troy Towers - as the type of people moving into TT is unsettling. ...read more
