Got a great deal on a used car. I didn't have any credit as I am in high school. I did have a job and they offered a buy here pay here program, so I pay weekly to them rather than a bank. Payments are good, car is in great condition. The staff is cool too. I was a little worried about going in and after hearing about shady dealers. They were laid back staff, and answered all my questions. It really put my mind at ease. They were joking about the app game they have on android store, comparing scores with their customers. I purchased a car from Warwick on 8/16/14. They were fully aware that my tax and tags would not be paid until 9/12/14. My temp tags and reg expired on 9/10/14, so as they told me, I parked the car until the 12th till I could pay my tax/tags. From the beginning, I was told that since I was paying late, I would be charged a fee. I accepted that, and was fine. On 9/12/2014 I went there and paid $906 CASH which was tax, tags, and 1 payment. It is now 9/22/14 and I still cant drive my car. They refuse to give me another temp tag until mine are back. They insist it's against the law. I have spoken with the DMV several times regarding this incident, and they said I 100% CAN have a 2nd tag. They just don't want to pay the $25 fee it requires from the dealership. I have been without a vehicle for 2 weeks now. I spoke to Manny, and he told me "since I paid late, that everyone who paid on time will get their tags before I do and not to expect to drive for a while." They have my money, but are doing NOTHING to get my tags done. Linda has lied through her teeth regarding the conversation we had the day I financed the car. The owner (who was pleasant and eager to help me buy the car) has refused every call I have made regarding my tags. I was threatened with a repo by Luis as well since I couldn't get there Fri to make my $65 payment (BECAUSE I HAVE NO CAR!!) I have filed a complaint the DMV, the attorney general's office, ect. I pay my payments every Friday....I paid $1000 down....I paid $906 as well. Everything is paid, yet these jerks are still REFUSING to give me my tags. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU WITHOUT A CAR!!! Purchasing from these liars and snakes was the BIGGEST mistake of my life.
