I have been seeing Dr Mitchell for just about 15 years now. He's a very thorough, patient doctor, and he is extremely good at what he does. When I was younger I was having unexplainable headaches and visual disturbances that primary care physicians and neurologists kept writing off as migraines. However, within thirty seconds of looking into my eyes Dr Mitchell caught what three other physicians had missed- a swelling and raising of my optic nerve caused by an excess of spinal fluid. I was immediately taken to the neurological center at Robert Wood Johnson where I was given a spinal tap to drain off the excess fluid and diagnosed with lyme disease. Besides that one extraordinary circumstance I have always received excellent care. He's always picked up on little things like my contacts being no longer the right shape for my eye, or when I've accidentally come in with my contacts in the wrong eyes.
