When attempting to return an item to the Sears electronics/appliance department, I was greeted with accusations and indifference. The employee insisted that I had opened the item, when I did not do so. He was trying to discourage me from returning the item, since it would look negatively on the stores records. He grilled me on why I was returning the item like I was a criminal. This is a warning to any and all shoppers - do not come here for anything.
