I was at a cocktail party and it was just plain great. Not the same old shriveled flavorless items. Most of the items were actually bite sized which was very pleasant but they actually tasted good, I would even go as far as great. Small pates were passed with beef on top of potato with a beautiful see through chip with an herb inside of it. It was very pretty and the beef melted in your mouth. I think it was short rib, not sure. At the end there were little cups of chocolate mousse and custards of pumpkin, just a tiny taste. It was the perfect amount. The waiters were polite and knowledgeable, there was one in particular who seemed to know when my glass was in need of more wine.
