The VVEL system helps the engine breathe freely, enabling instant acceleration and enhanced efficiency. Or, drivers can opt for the 303-horsepower 3.5-liter 24-valve DOHC V6 engine. No matter the choice, each engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, complete with Adaptive Shift Control. Solid magnesium paddle shifters are also available. For 2011, the Infiniti FX offers available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
