My son went here from when he was 3 into after-hour school years beginning back when they first opened. It was the first time he & I had ever done daycare. I was really nervous the first day, but when I dropped him off, I got the "Bye mom, everything's gonna be fine" greeting. And it was.\t\n\t\nMiss Christy does a great job keeping things in order & the staff is all professional yet always courteous, caring and pleasant. Very accommodating also. Everything is always kept neat & clean. The price was very reasonable. They would actually give me a daily report on my son - times of #1 & #2s, mood, activities... My child started at Little Squirts in Sep 2010, It has been about 5 months, maybe a little longer. In this short time my child is a new little person, Ms. Way (Owner) has tought her so much. At 3 yrs old she knows her ABC's (with letter recognition) counting how to write and spell her name, Spanish and countless other things. My child has problems speaking in groups of people, Now there is no fear. She loves to go to "School" as we call it because it is more of school as it is a day care. Ms. Way is a WONDERFUL Woman who has the heart of a saint! My child Loves her as well as my Nephews who have both been to Little Squrits, As well as Myself. I need not worry while my child is in her care, my only worry is the fact that I may one day have to put her into public school for pre school. Let me start by saying that Little Squirts is NOT a daycare! It's much more like a preschool! At my daughter's old daycare, she was in a room with dozens of kids, stuck in front of a TV half the time, treated poorly by untrained staff, and played in a playground that had no toys! At Little Squirts there is a small number of children so they get tons and tons of attention. Their days are structured yet fun, with tons of different activities. They do crafts, play outside, have quiet time and learning time. Every month we get a detailed calendar with everything our child will do every day, and each day we get a detailed sheet of what was done. Ms. Way works very closely with all the children, introduces them to the computer, teaches them Spanish, letters, numbers, etc. My daughter absolutely loves it. I am so so so glad I found it.
