Edgewater is located in the northeastern part of New Jersey known to have played an important part in contribution to revolutionary war. Major attractions in Edgewater include Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, Borough Hall and the Binghamton Ferry. Edgewater is known to be home to Monk Parakeets also known as Quaker Parrots which can be seen in Memorial Park. The public schools here are Eleanor Van Gelder School and Leonia Public Schools.
