Visited Bethel a couple of times in early 2011 with my husband. however did not feel comfortable there. Don't get me wrong, it seems to be a nice little church, however we were never welcomed, and the church leadership seemed mainly concerned with chatting with those that were members or invovled in the service. Appeared to be many "clicks" or isolated groups within the church which can be a good thing in my experience but in Bethel's case it seems to be very exclusionary of those people who are not connected. We didn't have our children with us so I cannot speak about the nursery or childcare or youth programs. The orchestra is small but sounded good, however the leader, I think her name was Camp, was very snobbish to us and seemed to want everyone to know she can sing, Didn't seem very appropriate and we were very put off by her. Overall a very uncomfortable experience and we will look elsewhere. A person just doesn't seem to matter at Bethel unless they are part of the "in" crowd. ...read more
