do yourself a favor and don't get your taxes done here. I went in early April and they told me I owed money. Then I got a call and was told they forgot my property taxes. I had to go back so they could do an amendment. They said they wouldn't charge me for the amendment but still charged me full price to do my taxes. I kept contacting the office because I never received my NJ refund. They originally gave me a phone number to research it myself. Once I flipped out they did it but it took 5 more calls for them to get it expedited. I finally got my check 5 months later. ...read more

"Terrible service" are the first two words that come to mind when talking about H&R Block. They are over-priced, sneeky and downright rude. They lied to me and the entire way thru my business return, and eventually I walked out and did my taxes elsewhere. They originally told me the cost of the tax preparations would be somewhere between $150-250 (emphasis on AT MAX). Before I left they were trying to get me for somewhere between $450-500.
