I recently lost my Uncle, who served as a Bayonne police officer for 25 years in Bayonne, and called this florist for an arrangement.\nAfter speaking with Anthony we were assured an arrangement would be done a particular way, with the colors and flowers we has specified, we left a phone number for them to contact us if they had any difficulty with doing this, we were assured it would not be a problem, we also requested an Uncle banner be put on the arrangement. When I arrived at the viewing and saw the arrangement I was horrified! It was nothing like we had requested! My Uncle was a bold man and we wanted bright colors to reflect that, instead we were given mostly white, with two very plain pale yellow flowers. The Uncle band was so tiny and poorly played that it was barely visible and it looked much smaller than the one we saw on line and requested. We were assured this was not a teleflora piece yet when we called to express our disappointment we were told " What did you expect from a Teleflora piece?"\nGeorge, the self proclaimed owner, told me that he made the judgement call to go with those colors, in that piece, when I told him that we had requested they call us first if they ran into any problems with our request he told me that he had to make a judgment call and he was responsible for the piece going out the way it did.\nThat's is all well and good but if you, deal in the customer service business than he should have used the phone number this customer left with them and called to make sure it was okay first before making his judgement call. When I called and spoke to George he barely let me get a word in edgewise in between his telling me how long he's been in business in Bayonne, the number of funeral homes that recommend his shop and how well his business does. I don't care about any of that , I cared about my Uncle, and my arrangement!\nHis arrangement, attitude, and seemingly disregard for my feelings have made it very clear that he knows nothing about dealing in customer service, family who are grieving, or actually doing what his customers request. I have many family members in Bayonne and I can assure you he will never see business from the Michaels, Sclafane or Casagrande's families again!\nNot for nothing...but a little common courtesy and humbleness would've gone a long way... ...read more

My 17 year old daughter received was was supposed to be a dozen roses for Valentine's Day. The roses were delivered with only 11. When I call the store today to inform tthem of how it was very disappointing it was for her as it's a special day I got a man on the phone who apologized and then suggested she come by the store to get her 1 rose. IS HE KIDDING! What sucky customer service! He most certainly should have offered to deliver it at the very least! Why should she be inconvenienced when his staff was incompetent??! His pathetic excuse was that they created 100's of arrangements and this happens ALL THE TIME???!!!! I will NEVER use them for anything and have advised my daughter to tell her boyfriend never to use them again... Best part about Bayonne is word of mouth ... trust me everyone I know will be hearing this story. ...read more
