This hotel cannot even be considered a resort. The rooms are disgustingly dirty. The first night we stayed there I was disgusted with the condition of our room and was asked to be moved only to be told they were booked up. After several phone calls later, no hot water, bugs and filth they moved us to a less dirty room. Our second night we were moved to a larger room that we had booked. Egually dirty, we had hoped to be moved to a "newer" section. It did not happen. Filthy floors, mold and mildew in the bathroom and the caulking around the tub was black and breaking off into the tub. I cannot believe that they charge people to stay here and that they call it a resort. We will NEVER go back. The staff really does not care one bit. It's a shame that they let this place get so run down. Demolishing it is pretty much the only way to make this "resort" any better. My husband and i stayed for a night and i would NEVER stay again. The ride to the resort is horrific , pot holes the whole 20 min ride from the main road to the resort. The staff once you get there just dont care and will certainly not go out of their way to even try to accomodate you. Check in is at 4 which i think is quite late and check out is 10 am which i think is quite early. The food at the resturant is the worst i have ever seen , i cant even say i have tried it because it was so bad looking my husband and i sent it back to the kitchen and walked out. ( had ordered prime rib and it had looked like the dish just came from the microwave) They dont have baked potatoe on their menu and their mashed looked like it was instant. And to think people stay whole weeks at this resort is a joke to me. ...read more

If you are ever in the Winnisquam area you must visit the Heritage Farm Pancake House & Petting Zoo!!! We have had the opportunity to go back year after year and it is a place we would not miss!!! The last visit was right after the 4th of July holiday and one person who I would like to mention is Samantha Newman. She brought out chocolate chip pancakes with syrup and whipped cream to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and made the day special.
