It will help if you know nothing about what you are having repaired. Although Steve is in some cases an honest mechanic, he hates to be challenged especially if he's wrong or has made a mistake, which in my case was every time he worked on my vehicle. Whether it was over charging an AC cuase seal failure or failing to follow simple tire balancing instructions outlined my the tires manufacture, which in my case resulted in damage to the rear axle seals. If challenged, the he can be down right vindictive and mean. One moment to the next, you will never know who you are talking with. When I first used Promex things seamed fine until I found where he has ripped the vinyl floor covering in my truck. I overlooked that because of the decent welding job he did on my body mounts. As time went on I found that if your vehicle is other than a GM product, he will berate your ride. If your mechanic is so childish to hate your dodge, why would you trust him to work on it. We've been bringing our cars to Steve at Promex for over 2 years. It a bit of distance for us to travel but it's worth it. You know Steve will give you an honest accessment anda fair price.
