My car broke down in Meredith NH so we called the police and they gave us a phone number to the local tow company, Tim from Stanford towing came out and got me and my son off the road in less then five minutes and took us all the way back to are house in Campton NH a 40 mile tow and only charged me $150.00. I have to say I have been towed by other company's be for and Stanford Towing is by far the best I highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks Again ...read more

Signs of head injury can be elusive...
Everyone, it seems, has been hit on the head. It's very hard to avoid, especially during school and sports, even with helmets. Sometimes it results in a period of unconsciousness, but may not. Unconsciousness does not necessarily predict the long term effects. By far, most of the time, recovery is swift and little or no after effects are noted. Sometimes (around 15% of confirmed cases), the brain doesn't completely heal on its own, and requires help. The likelihood of significant lasting effects increases exponentially with each subsequent injury. The signs of such effects are often somewhat elusive, such as occasional "brain fog", disorientation, or just inability to focus or pay attention to otherwise slow moving presentations. Or it could be something like irritability uncharacteristic of one's previous disposition. Sometimes these changes don't show up until weeks or even many months after the injury, and may be difficult to associate in any pin-point way with a specific event. A good neurologist can often help you sort out the kinds of symptoms associated with the kind of injury sustained. An EEG brain "map" is part of a neurofeedback assessment that can be a useful tool in recognizing patterns of brainwave behavior typical of the effects of brain injury. Neurofeedback training can help regain the missing function, and restore the individual to his or her previous "self", even many years after the injury. Please be careful with the health and well-being of your own brains, and those of your children. Remember that the brain is a relatively soft and delicate mass suspended in a sac of cerebral-spinal fluid within the skull (which has a sharp "horn" protrusion on either side). It may not take much of a blow or impact to cause injury. A brain that is not functioning well due to injury can be a significant handicap.
