Purchased a new car several weeks ago. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I was having a great experience until it came to the negotiation. This negotiator did the following: 1) didn't tell me about the customer rebate 2) volunteered my rebate as cash down to offset the price 3) criticized the car I was trading in 4) lied about the rebate figure in the price agreement, saying it was merely a billing formality to get the price I wanted. It was only after I returned home that found out about the active $500 rebate. It would have been a great experience if it wasn't for the, ya know, ... lying part. There are lots of dealerships out there that work hard to maintain long lasting relationships. It seems Ira's business model is to secure $500 now rather than secure a loyal customer for far more future business. ...read more
