Always use shuttle service when up in Lincoln and going out. Always recommend them to people staying up north. Even leave business their cards in our condo rentals. Safety first right! Well never had a problem with pick up and drop off until this past weekend. Took shuttle from/to Nordic Inn (located across the street from shuttle office, btw) to Woodstock on Oct. 31, no problems, great service. Well that went out the window on Saturday night. Different driver, way different attitude. Driver should be fired! First, he was 15 minutes later on pick up than advised, OK, no big deal. We advised him we would need a ride back to the Nordic Inn later in the evening. He never advised what time they stopped. however, the night before we were advised 2am, so we assumed the same. First call for pick up went like this at 12:25 am, "Yes I will pick you up, be outside in 5 minutes or I am leaving". So we went right outside. No shuttle stop, swear he drove right by us. Called back 12:43 am, 12:57 am and 1:09 am NO ANSWER!!! WHAT SHUTTLE SERVICE EVER LEAVES TWO YOUNG WOMAN STRANDED??? We were fortunate that a gentlemen who owned a local business gave us a ride home. However, what could have happened? Women left get hurt and even killed! Just asked the latest victim from VA! Blood would have been on your hands...the one source we depended on for safety. Going forward, NEVER will recommend the Shuttle!! Will post on YELP too. People need to know about this. Lucky, someone was not hurt, HUGE liability on the Shuttle. Thanks for nothing!
