recently stayed at silver lake park campground in belmont, nh. the day before we were to go there, i received a phone call and was told that due to new state regulations we could not bring our own campfire wood. it was to be bought at there store. so i did some homework on the state law and found out that it was ok as long as the wood was brought from within the state. when that was brought to there attention, the response was that this was how they made there money. after that, we went there and it really felt like we were being watched and spent most of the long weekend worrying about getting bothered about the littlest things. i would not reccomend this campground to anyone. the fact that i was lyed too from the beginning and then she had a big fake smile on her face and pretended like she cared about my familys vacation left a sour taste in my mouth. ...read more
