"Security master AV is appropriately called scareware because it "scares" you into thinking you have one or more serious problems. This program is considered a rogue anti-spyware program and is part of the Virus Doctor family. Security Master AV is typically installed through Trojans that pretend to be legitimate programs, but instead install this rogue onto your computer without your permission. Malwarebytes is an excellent tool that will help remove this infection but you should know that you might have trouble on two counts. 1) you may not be able to install or even copy any programs onto the infected computer...even if you are in safe mode. A local computer repair shop will have a set of tools, that they use to prevent the infection from running long enough to load in a removal solution. The second problem you might have to deal with is that typically, this infection also changes your Windows HOSTS file ( sort of an address book for the internet for your computer ) which means you will need to restore the default hosts file in addition to removing the infection. Your infection might be slightly different and becuase of that, its difficult to give an exact removal process.
