I've lived in Ventura for less than one year. The best thing about Ventura is Ventura is a lovely part of California. Great weather, less hectic than LA and wonderful people. Climate is very similar to where I come from in Australia. I get to Ventura as often as I can and have thought that I will may settle there. I coach people online so I can help people in any location, using phone, Skype and email, so if you are considering getting help to reach your goals, think of me!

What could be the concerns of any business relating to outsourcing of social media activities?
"It rather depends on what aspect of the social media you may be considering outsourcing and which part you mean to do yourself. There are ways to either outsource or delegate within your company but not at the expense of neglecting to engage with your audience personally. Start with mapping out what you want to achieve with your social media involvement. You need to understand a certain amount of background on social media before you hand anything over to someone else and this is also true for people doing their own social media interaction. There is a culture online and good practices and some terrible practices that can harm your business - no matter who is doing it. If you are planning well, have a good understanding of what to do, how to do it, and what not to do then there are aspects that you can get help to perform. If others are posting for your business then you should have control over the kind of material they are able to post - and a policy around this so they know clearly too. They should be identfied by initial usually, and not pretending to be you. Depending on the business there are reasons why this could be a good idea and why it could be a bad idea. Work out your purpose for using social media and your plan for putting that into action and then be realistic when considering your budget in time and in money for this part of the business marketing. Remember - social media is not broadcastng and not about pushing out ads. You will need a good bank of content to draw from and you would do well to begin the exercise by reviewing your website and any blog that you have as a first step."
"I never want to attend a webinar but I do appreciate being able to download the audio if it is quality content and isn't full of ads and blather and chit chat. A transcript of the audio is a welcome touch."
