Not good

I had my son at this day care and the ratio is definitely terrible !!! The Director is horrible !!! She don't interact with parents, leave alone know a child's name that has been there. Please - she's a joke. She hires young girls for the toddler class - Ghettooooooooooooo ........ Josefine needs to get off the computer, looking for dates and really look like she should care about the kids. It's unfortunate that the Four C's helps parents to go to this day care. A regular parent paying out of pocket will not deal with her B/S. The school definitely needs to be monitored so they can see for themselves what I seen. Trust and believe, the school would then be shut down.

Don't EVER go there!

I had the absolute worse experience from the time I walked in for an appointment to the time I FINALLY received my glasses. The staff is too busy socializing with themselves to properly check patients in and the owner Steve is too busy flirting with every female to notice things are running horribly behind schedule. After finally getting the young lady's attention to show me a few pairs of frames I was rushed through the process to finally select a pair.

I was told the glasses would be ready for pick up after a week and a half but it took more than 4 weeks! I had to constantly call the office to get a straight answer on where my glasses were. Finally once they came in I went to the office on a friday at 7 PM only to find it closed even though the website said they were open until 9!

I really try to support black owned businesses but I will NEVER go back there again!

Horrible Salon

Ahh what a horrible salon! My career has lead me to live in numerous cities and this salon was by far the absolute worst place i have ever had my hair colored! I feel so bad for the unsuspecting clients that come into Portfolio Salon expecting professionalism and will walk out most likely in tears!!

What do you want to know?

Even though their interest rates are low on their credit cards, they charged me a daily finance charge ON A $35 FEE for a cash advance!!! My credit score is 763 and they refused to waive the charge - so I cancelled my account. Coscto's AMEX on the other hand will waive fees with a single phone call . Bye-bye First Simmons.

Terrible To Work For

A crappy company to work for. The owners and salaried employees are the only ones making an income. The hourly employees make just enough hours to cheat them out of their unemployment benifits. Soon to go under.

This company scammed me into having to purchase their ink cartridge. They are not a very ethical company and I would not suggest anyone do business with them.

Nobody works on my vehicles, I mean nobody! Primarily because I haven't met anyone with the skills and integrity to do the work as well as I can.
I brought my truck to Carroll's for a VA state inspection and it failed for a bad tie rod end. I can do this job for about $75, plus an alignment (about $85 for my truck). Problem is I don't really have time right now.
Carroll's did the job with the alignment at a very fair price. While working on it he also found a bad pitman arm. He APOLOGIZED for not discovering it during the initial inspection, told me he replaced it because he knew I needed my truck, then said "Don't worry about paying me now, I know you need your truck. Get it to me when you can. " There's a reason I don't let others work on my vehicles-I don't trust them.
Carroll's will get my business for the forseeable future, and they have my recommendation for all you automotive needs.
