I phoned three days ahead for a ride to the airport, and explained to the dispatcher that I had an extremely important meeting to attend and that I could not miss my flight. She assured me not to worry about anything, because she would personally see that someone would be at my doorstep by 6:15 in the morning for plenty of time to make my flight. It was 6:20 that morning and I was sitting with my suitcase at the door because my taxi hadn’t come. I picked up my cell phone to call them and saw that I had a voice message. It was left by the driver, named Geno about an hour before--I was in the shower and missed his call. I called him back and asked him if he was having any trouble finding my house. He told me that since I didn’t answer his call earlier that he decided not to pick me up at all and that he didn’t care if I missed my flight. When you need an Omaha Airport Shuttle or Taxi use your cell phone the next time. How? Get on Facebook, or Twitter, and look for Omaha Taxis.
