Do not buy a house from Hearthstone. Warranty says it covers basement leaks. We did not finish our basement and one day pulled back our white insulation hanging against our basement walls and it was covered with water and mold. We have only lived here a year. Heathstone's mold guy came out and said it a humidity issue, not their fault and that the mold was not dangerous. We called our own mold guy certified in basement leakage, and he said definitely leak, all around, and that without samples and testing (Which their guy did not do) there is no way to tell what kind of mold it is. They are trying to say they do not have to clean it up or fix it, because there is not way to prove it a leak until spring,when they can flood the area. . Also take a good hard look at the roofs. They have ridges all over them in the Stonecrest neighborhood.
