SVM has no intention or motivation to help you sell your car after they have your money. Their EBay listings are under fake usernames to defraud EBay. The SOLD listings on their website have not been sold by them and the majority of these 5 star reviews are from their employees. ...read more

The sales pitch was great, the gal who contacted me assured me that I was asking more than a reasonable price and that all I needed to do was to get in front of more potential buyers and she could help me do that. She was very vague about what part of eBay she would be listing me on, I thought I was getting represented very well on ebay which was my main interest in just paying the $329 and not having to pay ebay and other website fees. Halfway though the listing timeframe I contacted them and said should we get more aggressive with the price to which they said "Yes you should, you are a little on the high side". Wait, I thought I was asking a reasonable price? Then after my ebay listing had expired my sales rep contacted me and said well the ebay classifieds that we had you listed on is really not the best place to market your vehicle. You should be on an auction listing. To which I asked, "Why didn't you recommend that in the first place?" She had no response other than, "Well, sometimes in certain situations, umm . . . . " Etc. She recommended I spend more money with them to put up an ebay ad. To which I said no thanks. LONG STORY SHORT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM! I recently in an accident and my insurance totaled out my car. I got a fair amount for my old 2011 Ford Edge from my insurance company and really wanted the same car (hopefully a little nice, lower miles). I went online and started my search and The Internet Car Lot had the best deal within 500 miles of me by over $2,000 and it was a year newer than my old one! I talked to Josh initially and worked with Ryan when I got up there and it was honestly the smoothest car purchase I've ever experienced! The car was exactly what they told me in the pictures and description and I got a great deal on an additional 100k mile warranty!
