I couldn't be more pleased with A Is For Art Preschool. Mrs. Borelli has a wonderful program set up for the kids. My son had never gone to a daycare or preschool program before this and I couldn't have found a better place for him to learn the transition from home to school environment. My 3 year old son went to A is for Art preschool during last school year and we plan to send him in the coming year as well. He had a great time exploring different art related activities the school offers along with other preschool curriculum. I like this school also because of the teacher Ms. Borelli, she is very nice and the children really enjoy learning from her. She also gives a lot of one on one time to each child, connects with their parents and informs them of the day to day activities of their children. This is something I didnt see at other preschools. We just wrapped up with the 22nd Annual Winter Wonderland Fashion Show. This year's show was a bit different than shows in years past, with a new format and a completely new venue-- the lovely La Vista Conference Center at Embassy Suites. This was also the first year that we've used clothing from Omaha designers -- Audi Kuiken, Dan Richters, Terri Buckner,&Shamina; Wiek. 100 student hairstylist and estheticians did makeup and hair for over 200 models for 11 different scenes. Even a few Alumni, now successful professionals, styled models live on stage in front of our audience. The audience was astounding. We estimate around 500 were in attendance. We originally planned on seating for 400, and the wonderful staff at Embassy was quick to address the swarms with more chairs. All in all, it was a great hit and by all accounts was the best show we've ever put on. Thank you so much to all the staff and students of Capitol, our models, the wonderful local designers, the Aerial Company for sponsoring our VIP gift bags, F&K photography, and the LaVista conference center.
