I was with my husband and children attending a Bellevue Parade this weekend. While enjoying the parade of course the different sponsors of the parade handed out pamphlets, when all of a sudden we get little "comic book" brochures handed out by Marshall Drive Baptist Church. These were absolutely horrific! These so called followers of Christ have decided to write these "comic book" strips slamming the Catholic church! I was born and raised Catholic and took major offense to these books! I was taught that you never judge anyone based on their believes. According to these "comic strips" God will turn you away from the gates of heaven if you are a Catholic! WOW!! Maybe the Marshall Drive Baptist Church should stop judging others and let them believe what they want and how they chose instead of shoving it in others faces and childrens. My 2 year old grabbed these strips this morning and I let her rip and tear them to pieces, since that is all that they are good for! I will be saved ...read more

Our church family and friends are a big part of this great Omaha community. They help out in Ministry tremendously. Some of the best times are spent in church during worship & fellowship. We try to ensure that people are blessed and keep coming back to our services. Don't get me wrong -- we like to go to [ball games, shows, restaurants & parks as well!
