The Shaw laminate flooring is very poor quality , purchased and installed a large amount and in various areas blisters and bubbles appeared on surface and the manufacturer sent out an expert and they said surface water caused damage , very sensitive to surface water , so can't mop or spill anything on it , and in my son's room he eats and drinks at his computer all the time and no damage at all in his room only in random areas . I have had Dupont laminate and very tough in comparison to the Shaw product , the expert also said that all doorways and openings required a transition strip less than 6 feet wide , it would look awful , and then a sub-contractor recommended by Carpet Warehouse said he had a dog that could not control his bladder and he had never seen laminate flooring do that , and also his customers would not accept transitioning all openings , because of the poor appearance.BASICALLY CARPET WAREHOUSE AND SHAW FLOORING DO NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL ...read more
