I called a few companies regarding a 45ft red oak that needed to be removed. Besides providing a comparable quote to remove the single tree, Pegram provided an enticing quote for all-day service of five guys, which would extend far beyond the single tree. We are glad that we hired them for the entire day. They brought a chipper, small stump grinder, Bobcat, and dump truck to adequately deal with our job. A skilled climber dealt with the tall trees that needed removal or pruning and others dealt with the ground-level items, including 10 stumps that had been left by the previous owner. The area is on a slope near a lake and care was taken to appropriately deal with the wood, including stacking the smaller pieces for our future use and hauling off the rest. They cleared a lot of brush along our lake sure, which would have been a lot of effort for us. Throughout the day, they attended to any questions or requests that we had. We have previously used Pegram for an extremely large job - a removal of 3 Willow Oak trees in our front yard (close to our house). We were incredibly impressed that time so of course we chose them to prune the trees in our back. They again were impressive! Very professional, reasonably priced. After numerous estimates and a year of contemplating what to do with our trees we choose to go with Pegram Tree Service. They consistently had top level customer service, were available to answer all of my questions and beat EVERY estimate by at least $800. After removing our 3 extremely large Willow Oak trees and stumping them (for free!) we were left with a lot of debris in our yard (just from the amount of leaves and number of limbs on the trees). Pegram Tree Service was able to do an amazing clean up job after finishing and left us with a clean yard to plant grass seed in.
