Our goal is for all children to be as prepared as possible when they enter school. We have a Family Resource Center where children and their families come with the opportunity to learn to interact with others. Research shows that learning good social skills is important to a child's success in kindergarten.We offerSchool Readinessand Reading Readiness class for children entering kindergarten. You can schedule these classes in our Family Resource Center or at your home by using our FACES Mobile Unit. Parents as Teachers, home visiting program, is also offered. Our services are free to all families in eastern Wake County. Our FamilyResource Center Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9am to 1pm. Events are: Monday: Hora Latina - 10am to 11am, Tuesday: Tumblin Tuesday - 10am to 11am, Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday - 10am to 11am, Thursday: Thumpin' Thurday - 10am to 11:30am & Friday is reserved for special scheduled events. ...read more
