My daughter has taken dance from Jayme and it hasn't been a great experience. My daughter is only 3 and she isn't patient at all considering the age group. She is quick to be harsh and doesn't give much encouragement or praise. She seems extremely unorganized and has shown up late many times to class. One time she didn't show up at all and ten minutes after we are standing outside the locked dance studio waiting a lady come up with a sign saying she was sick and not coming. I do not know where this Mom is coming from, but classes are 45 mins each week at $45 a month. Jayme is an excellent teacher. She does help the students during recitals, but want the students to be on their own for the parents. If this Mom is that unhappy with Dance EFX and Ms Jayme, why have you been there two years, go somewhere else. ...read more

My daughter has taken dance with Jayme Gies, owner of Dance efx2. Jayme does not manage class time well. I pay for 1 hour of dance at $45 and she always starts class 15 to 20 minutes late. The recitals are poorly planned and managed with no consideration for her younger students. She will not help the smaller kids during recitals but you can always find her on stage dancing with the older students. This is her students recital, NOT her moment to shine. Jayme is very patient with her young students but due to how she grossly mismanages her time and with recitals that are poorly planned I can not recommend this studio to anyone.
