I took wrapped Christmas presents to the UPS Store #4089 on Strickland Rd. in Raleigh, NC. One group which I stacked and measured at home was roughly 14x14x14 inches. All I asked was to have them boxed and shipped. They took my bag in the rear of the store and came back with a cut down box which was taped and sealed. The charges were over $15 for the box and packing and over $40 a total of over $55 for UPS ground shipping for an 11 pound package classified as clothing ! I expected to pay for their service but NOT more that 3 times what the shipping cost should have been. I called the store manager to question the charge for this package. He said that this how they pack and this is what they charge and stated that any consideration at all "ain't gonna happen" !
