The UPS Store

I took wrapped Christmas presents to the UPS Store #4089 on Strickland Rd. in Raleigh, NC. One group which I stacked and measured at home was roughly 14x14x14 inches. All I asked was to have them boxed and shipped. They took my bag in the rear of the store and came back with a cut down box which was taped and sealed. The charges were over $15 for the box and packing and over $40 a total of over $55 for UPS ground shipping for an 11 pound package classified as clothing ! I expected to pay for their service but NOT more that 3 times what the shipping cost should have been. I called the store manager to question the charge for this package. He said that this how they pack and this is what they charge and stated that any consideration at all "ain't gonna happen" ! I have shipped packages from this location for years but in the future my shipping anything from this location just "ain't gonna happen" ! ...read more

My payments were scheduled every other Friday. On the Friday my payment was due, I started getting phone calls at 10:15 am. Evidently they open at 10. I am at work at this time, and if I had not got back in touch with them they started calling people that were my references. Next was when they called my work. I talked to the manager Crystal and she put in my chart that she was the only one to contact me since I had 3-4 other people calling right after the other.
