Ford is Reproducing the 1932 Ford Body
If you're into classic cars at all, you know that the 1932 Ford is an icon. It's been chopped, dropped and customized in more ways than we can count. However, finding an actual steel body, in good condition, can be downright tough. Ford plans on changing that. Currently, it's not too hard to find a fiberglass reproduction of the '32 Ford. Ford felt that if folks had the option to purchase a steel body, they would jump at the chance. In order to make that happen, Ford Component Sales has officially licensed United Pacific Industries to build the steel body of the '32 Ford. What's unique is that these bodies will be produced using the same tools and measurements as their predecessors. As Ford states: Ford Component Sales also points out that they sell just about every part and component you need to complete the car. From engines, fenders and interior to badging, you can order it all from your computer. While a reproduction body may not hold quite the same value as an original, most '32s seem to be highly modded anyway, so the value seems to be more in the finished product that the origins of the body.
