IF YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF DOWN IN RAEFORD NC AND ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEST HOME COOKED MEAL YOU COULD EVER WANT. PLEASE STOP IN AT VIRGILS FOR SOME OF THE BEST STEW BEEF AND RICE, PORK CHOPS,CHICKEN, FISH AND ANYTHING ELSE THEY HAVE ON THE MENU. BUT DON'T TAKE MY WORK FOR IT, STOP IN AND TRY IT FOR YOURSELF AND I KNOW YOU WILL BE BACK FOR MANY MEALS TO COME. Although the food is delicious, the service has left more to be desired. A friend and I went to Virgil's on a recommendation. We live in Fayetteville. I live off Cliffdale Road. I ordered a white meat chicken plate and my friend got a side of greens. Upon arriving home, I discovered my white meat chicken plate didn't have the CHICKEN. Luckily, I saved the number in my cell fone because I planned to call in an order at a later date. I called back to inform them i was on my way back to get my chicken. At first the young lady denied taking my order but her co-worker overheard and confirmed she was the one. I did receive a sweet tea and banana pudding for my trouble. I was not happy with having to wait (again) chicken should have been ready. Then I discovered that my charge slip that was $9.16 was actually charge to my card as $10.07.
