The Alan Holden group charges extreme hidden fees. When request an explanation, the staff is unfamiliar with the fees being charged. We stayed in a number of houses offered by Holden and all smell terrible. Frankly, not recommended. ...read more

The staff was very friendly on check in and reserving the place was easy. That is why they are not getting one star. The place was filthy. There were cockroaches in the cottage.(I didn't see them until the second day). Mildew all over the showers. (I noticed right away but decided to overlook) Dust all over the cieling fans.The house shook when you walked. -Did not notice until I unpacked. Next time I rent somewhere, I will inspect better before I unpack. I didn't think to do it b/c I have rented a dozen cottages before and never had a problem. I did not feel like moving again so I just washed my hands and cleaned up as much as possible. ...read more
