ive been going to poolside for some 20 years these reviews are quite inaccurate because you do not understand youre pool I believe tis not Anyone's fault Accept the owners .In season pool work is very difficult to get sched. around all the folks involved schedules.. this is a seasonal venture . youre pools outdoors in a state with four seasons.. many of you have youre maintenance folk calling we do not have all of their info etc sometimes it can take ten minutes to decipher just whats going on. Ms B the vet lady is a great example many times things go round in circles because of systems You have in place Not poolside .. try and enjoy your summers I think that's key . good luck TomD the guy in the field 24-7 if im not there you did not call ...read more

The first Pool we�ve ever had. Very excited!! So, I asked a few people from work about going to Pool Side to have my water checked and to purchase chemicals. I was warned by everyone to stay away from the store in Mebane because the owner �Jack� could be a real jerk. I went to the store in Durham. I think his wife was working there. She had the worst people skills I�d ever experienced. By the time it was my turn to be helped, there were 3 more customers behind me waiting. I explained to her that I was completely new to this process. She started to explaining and writing down what I needed to know. When I started asking questions, she became very condescending towards me. Then she started telling me how busy she was and that there were 3 other people behind me and she had to make a phone call to make. I said that maybe I should leave, she told me to go right ahead and that it did not bother her at all. When she said that, everyone that was waiting behind me left the store. Then her attitude with me started to improve! Imagine that! When I called the Mebane store to complain, I basically received the same type of customer service. When I asked to speak to a manager or owner repeatedly, I was repeatedly asked what I needed. NOT �there not here�, or �the�re busy right now�, just �what can I help you with Ma�am� I asked, what Is your name? All I got out of him was �Josh�. He would not give me his last name. I explained to him my concern and hung up the phone even more agitated than I was before calling.There are other Pool Supply stores in the areas. I would NOT recommend Pool Side to anyone EVER! ...read more
