DO NOT go to this child care center...I had a child here and had issues with the director who has run this center for TOO long. She is rude and leaves you hanging as to if they have an opening or not. I have run a childcare center myself and you either have an opening, or you don't. My child was bitten over and over at this facility. Many times so bad it broke the skin and was bleeding. When I asked what was going to happen..how can we change this she stated it was NORMA for children to bite. This was anything BUT normal. I have had 2 children in Hawfield's from 1998 until now and have nothing but praise for it. There are more than 100 daycares in Alamance county, so no parent has to 'lower their standards' based on selection. I don't 'lower my standards' where my children are concerned. Hawfield's has a 4 star rating from the state. That's quite difficult to do with 'not very clean' facilities or 'unenthused' teachers. Caring parents have been choosing Hawfields since 1965.
