I don't know what kind of event planner the previous employee was but I received nothing but courtesy and excellence from this company while planning my event. I guess it's hard to give compliments when you're a bitter employee. Remember that just because things don't work out for you doesn't mean that you have to belittle or discredit others. Melissa contacted me wanting to know if I could photography a "Cure Event" in Chicago. After we worked out a few details, but had NEVER met, she sent me a long list of other fictional events she wanted us to fly out and photograph too... this got me a little suspicious, so I started investigating including contacting the hotels where the claimed events were supposed to be held and contacting people involved with charity events for various cancer research organizations and absolutely NOTHING panned out. Melissa continued to lead me on sending new logo files she wanted on albums from the events and so forth. I finally just stopped returning her calls and she went away. Don't know if this is some elaborate pyramid sceam or what, but for as much time as they put into running a fake business you'd think they could just make some money operating a legitimate one. This company lead me on for over 4 months stating that they were planning "high-end, large scale" events that were in fact made up and non-existent. They also have no running money and are unable to make sufficient deposits when ATTEMPTING to book large scale events. It became very apparent that I was never going to make the 10% I was promised from the event I was "attempting" to plan because Melissa, Kimberlyn and their bozo's do not have any ability to pay their employees. They also do not have the funds to pay vendors or venues for their services. THIS IS A WORLD OF CONTRACTS and LARGE deposits! You can't make thousands of dollars without spending thousands!!
