I've know Ryan Frost for 11 years. I've watched him grow into an excellent businessman and an artisan when it comes to making vehicles look amazing. I've had him work on several trucks, a car, and a van. Pricing is excellent considering the amount of labor that goes into creating the amazing results. When I was going to sell my truck a few years ago he made it look so good that people thought it was 10 years younger than it was. It sold quickly. He's restored headlights for me, removed badging, decals, scratches and swirls, removed 5 year old coffee stains in my interior, brought the paint color back to life, wet sanded and repaired my clear coat. I could go on but hopefully you've already called him by now. I trust this man to drive my truck which is saying a lot considering how much I love it- but, even if you don't trust anyone to drive your vehicle he's insured for pick up and delivery so there's no worries. I'm not sure how he has the stamina to continue this but he can work all night and return a car in the morning. Plastidip is one of his newest services but he's already been named Installer of the month on dipyourcar.com. His wife Julia is an excellent artist and can hand paint custom artwork on your vehicle. They make a great team. If you want to talk to me about my experiences working with this professional contact me at toothmansynthetics@gmail.com or call me 434-473-8886. ...read more

This place is awesome! The owner was very personable and professional. The prices were great and even included a military discount. My husband and I were both able to get our vehicles done today on Columbus Day. We honestly could not be happier. They look brand new! I felt compelled to write reviews on a couple sites since the reviews are what led me to this place. Honestly I'm quite irritated that the people writing negative ones made sure to repeatedly post them likely scaring off people. I cannot imagine any of the bad things that were posted actually happening. He seems very gracious for the business he receives and didn't even want to accept a tip. I called him to thank him after picking up the second vehicle (it was after hours), and he seemed to really appreciate the gratitude. Don't look any further...take your vehicle here and you will not be disappointed. ...read more

I posted this elsewhere, but people really need to know so...I read reviews (on yahoo) and was confident choosing a local place, over one of the chains, was the way to go. I dropped my car off at 1 and picked it up at 5:20. I don't know how long these things take, I admit my car was dirty, it's been a while since I cleaned it, so I had no problem with the time. When my wife, who isn't ""car savy"" at all got in the car to drive it home she noticed a broken piece of the dash. When we got to the house she told me ( I had to drive a seperate vehicle, to pick the car up). I checked the piece and it was definately broken. When I called back I told the owner I thought the car looked awesome, very clean, but their was a broken piece. I took it back in right after talking with him on the phone. When I got there he was gone and one of his employees tried to fix it and broke the piece in a second place. From that point on everyone who looked at it was focused on the second piece that the employee broke and couldn't understand that it was broken BEFORE that, somewhere else. The owner said it was already broken and I must not have noticed it because my car was dirty. Yes,he really said that because my car was dirty I must not have noticed a piece of the dash hanging off! To make an extremely long story shorter, he denied breaking it, got in my face trying to either start a fight or intimidate me, and left the parking lot telling me to ""shut my mouth"" repeatedly. I could go into more detail and will most likely for my friends or anyone who asks where to get their car detailed. I should have stayed with the more expensive national chain because their employees have to have some kind of intergrity or they get fired. When you work with a small business owner who would rather treat a customer with no respect and try to fight them, who is going to do anything to him? A cheap dash part that he could have admitted to and replaced for a couple of bucks instead he chose to make himself look like a fool and ruin the opportunity for return patronage or word-of-mouth business reference. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE BUSINESS OWNERS WHO DON'T RESPECT THIER CUSTOMERS YOUR BUSINESS!!!!! ...read more

How to Detail Classic Car Engines

As classic cars engines age they get dirty. The dirt comes from use as oil circulates in the engine. In old engines the oil may find a way out from a seeping seal to the outside of the engine. The oil collects all sorts of dust and debris and makes the engine look old and beat up. You can make that cl... ...read more
