I should have read the other reviews before I did business with Rhonda. Ordered a nightstand and mirror from her in August. After multiple stories and excuses, I finally received at the end of November. She blamed slow delivery on Reliable transportation and Reliable confirmed they only had the merchandise for a week. both pieces were damaged. nightstand was crushed and mirror was cracked. informed Rhonda and she asked me to call Curtis at Bernhardt to confirm condition??? why would i do that. she wouldnt refund credit card and said she'd send a certified check.... another lie. It's December 31 and Rhonda has not responded, not sent the check and we filed a fraud case with our credit card company. Rhonda has zero accountability, no professionalism and her follow up was abysmal, to put it nicely. When I mentioned her poor reviews, she screamed and yelled at me. She shouldn't be in business so buyer beware. She asked me to call Faye at Bernhardt to see what kind of person she is... However, she is a buyer to Faye. Haha! How about a character witness from a customer? Well... here they are! they are listed here! Haha... Shame on you, Rhonda for your crooked and fraudulent business practices. Just like another post reads they buy used furniture and sell online as "new". When they delivered the couches to my house (sept 3rd 2013) I could tell as soon as they brought the 1st couch off the truck it looked like the couch was a few years old. Pilled fabric and discoloration. I called Rhonda, (the person I have been speaking with for a few weeks, about how they buy "brand new" couches directly from the "warehouse" at discount prices) and told her I was not happy with the condition of the couches and that they were definitely used, and that I was not accepting the couches and to please issue a refund. She first argued with me that they were brand new, then agreed to issue a refund. It is now Oct 15th 2013 and after repeated phone calls and text messages to this horrible business I still have yet to receive a refund of $2,000. I will be seeking legal action. I recommend not to get involved. ...read more
