took my ford f-150 here after having a problem with overdrive. they diagnosed my transmission for free and determined I needed a rebuild. They even told me why my check engine light was also on. It took them four days to get my truck back. When i picked it up the manager told me they checked the engine oil and added some because it was low. Overall, very pleased with First Gear in Arden. I stumbled upon First Gear Transmission by accident....check engine light appeared and with children in the car, I did not want to risk going any further. The shop's manager/owner Ryan was professional and courteous. They performed a free diagnostic check and then explained what was wrong and how it could be fixed.
