Harmony is a part of the Iredell County region/metro area of North Carolina known for its location in the North Carolina High Country. Major attractions include Van Hoy Farms and Hunting Creek Preserves. Each year in the summer season there is the Annual July 4th Breakfast at Harmony Community Center. Among the biggest companies in Harmony are Tyson Foods, Inc and EGR Performance Brakes. The biggest schools here are Harmony Elementary School and Harmony High School. Therapy Dog

We are constantly looking for people (and their dogs) willing to donate their time for Therapy Dog work in the Community.  Many of you ask "What does that intel"?  Well we have set up arrangements where we visit nursing home, hospitals, hospice, and some schools! It is very uplifting for the patients/clients and extremely rewarding for you.  It is not very difficult to become a certified Therapy Dog handling Team. We just need to set up a free evaluation and temperament test of your dog or dogs.  If you already have basic obedience we can move you to the therapy dog certification group classes which are lots of fun!
